Buck To Basics is the work of three members of the Buck family, all in pastoral ministry for many years.
Having 3 people contributing creates a wide spectrum of material, from Children’s stories (For youngsters) on one end of the spectrum, to theological analysis (God’s plan) on the other. In between are Sermons, Bible Studies (Studies), Bible translations (Bible Story) and more personal articles in The Human Touch. All the pages are in pdf format, accessible with Acrobat installed on your computer, and space is provided on each page for comments.
As well as the pages mentioned above, there is also a weekday blog (acting like a daily Bible Study), also open to comment.
The site has been open since October 2008, designed originally as a means of contact between a pastor and 8 congregations, but it seems to be taking on a life beyond that. With that in mind, the site is constantly being updated, with the most recent sermons and articles being uploaded immediately, and the older material being constantly changed and (hopefully) improved. Your thoughts on improvements are much appreciated.
